Why tagName must be translated ?
tagName is defined by user too.

namespace MailCommon {
class MAILCOMMON_EXPORT Tag
....
      QString tagName;
      QColor textColor;


Where is your pb ?
Could you explain me what must be translated ?
a screenshot perhaps?
