one more note ... looking into configuration, the agents created as even have
this:

Path[$e]=$HOME/.local/share/akonadi_maildir_resource_2
Path[$e]=$HOME/.local/share/akonadi_maildir_resource_4
etc.

while the odd ones have
Path[$e]=$HOME/.local/share/local-mail

(which is the correct location)
