I realized that the issue is worse than I thought: KAddressBook doesn't let me
input mixed case email addresses manually, either. If I enter a mixed case
email address, it is automatically converted to lower case when closing the
edit window. This worked properly in previous versions of KAddressBook, so it
is a regression and should be fixed (IMHO).
