            Bug ID: 319346
Summary: "Remove Duplicate Mails" does not work in Offline
                    mode
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: kmail2
           Version: 4.10.2
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: commands and actions
          Assignee: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: csights at fastmail.fm

When I put kmail into Offline mode and try to remove duplicate emails two error
message boxes pop up "Unable to fetch item from backend (collection 191) :
Unable to retrieve item from resource: Cannot fetch item in offline mode." And
duplicate emails are not deleted.

I would expect kmail to remove those messages for which it already has message
bodies. I do not have

Further, when I run this command in Online Mode, the network becomes very busy
as though it is downloading messages from the network. All messages in the
folder appear to be downloaded already, b/c I can see them in the message
preview pane. So, I guess kmail is unnecessarily looking things up on the
network.

Reproducible: Always
