I just tried this in KDE 4.10.2:

I tagged a message with the tag "test".

Then I went to dolphin and typed the following URL:
"nepomuksearch:/?query=hasTag:test"
The email will appear in the result list.
Using the other format "tags:/test" doesn't show it.

It means that tagging worked on the kmail side.
