            Bug ID: 321357
Summary: zillions of grayed duplicate mails in IMAP folder
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: kmail2
           Version: 4.10.3
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: folders
          Assignee: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: jolay606 at gmail.com

Linux 3.8.1-30-desktop SMP PREEMPT x86_64 OpenSUSE Tumbleweed
zypper info kontact
Repository: openSUSE:12.3:Update
Name: kontact Version: 4.10.3-1.30.7 Arch: x86_64 Vendor: openSUSE
Installed: Yes Status: up-to-date

The bug appeared one time I started kontact, mainly in my IMAP income folder
and one "archives" subfolder where new mails are automatically filtered.

I read something about corrupt index but the KDE techbase about that is for
Kmail1 so I tried (and still am trying) to update the whole IMAP folders
without success. The problem is getting worse : the screenshot shows 15465
email junks and by the time I write this message the number increases
continually (16059...)

How do I solve such a mess ?

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
bug

Expected Results:
no bug
