            Bug ID: 320870
Summary: With users $HOME on AFS, kmail stops working after
                    network outage
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: kmail2
           Version: 4.10.4
          Platform: Exherbo Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: dirk.heinrichs at altum.de

I have user $HOME on an AFS volume. Even after the shortest network outage
(when switching from wireless to wired, for example), kmail stays unusable when
connectivity is restored. It doesn't load another mail when I click on it, it
doesn't switch folders, nothing. The only way out is to quit kontact, kill all
akonadi processes and restart.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run kmail with users $HOME in AFS
2. Disconnect and reconnect network
3. Try to still use kmail
Actual Results:
See above.

Expected Results:
kmail should start working again as soon as conectivity is restored.
