Bug ID: 322953
Summary: unavailable mail message in IMAP offline mode not
always displayed
Classification: Unclassified
Product: kmail2
Version: 4.10.5
Platform: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: UI
Assignee: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
Reporter: till2.schaefer at uni-dortmund.de
When switching to offline mode (IMAP account) it might occur, that some mails
are not cached locally. In this case a similar message to the following is
shown: "Offline - Kmail is in offline mode. Click here to go online" (i have a
German lang setting thats why i don't know the exact text here). The message is
shown in the area, where the emails content is displayed.
The Problem: when displaying a cached email and than clicking on a non-chached
email in the same folder, the offline message is not shown. Instead the
previously shown and cached email stays visible while the email list indicated
that the non-cached email is selected. when changing the folder to another one
and than changing the folder back to the first one and than clicking on the
non-chached mail, the offline message is shown again.
Reproducible: Always
