I use KDE 4.9 + E-Mails on an IMAP-Server in our local network. Mail searching
in my case is only working when the search expression refers to the "subject"
field of the mail. If such a search delivers complete results I have not
tested - but I have doubts for cases when you include subfolders of a choosen
mail folder in the search.

Searches for other important fields as "FROM", "CC", "DATE" do not work.
Searches where you combine different search conditions by "AND" or "OR" do not
work, either. At least I get no results although there are many mails matching
the conditions.

So I am very surprised that searching worked for Dimitrios and KDE 4.8. I had
tested searching also for KDE 4.8 versions - and it never worked in a
reasonable way (see comment #27 and #28).
