I am now on 4.10, RC2 and bug is still there. Going into its 3rd year almost
without being fixed. 

*ANY* Developer out there; if you need data, examples, log files or whatever,
just let me or other users know; we'll be more than happy to help and solve
this bug.

Just ignoring this bug does not make it go away; it might make the users go
away which in the end also solves the problem. /cynism
