a riff on bug 310899 - synchronisation problems 




Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. (sometimes) sent mail doesn't appear in the sent folder until kontact is
closed and reopened
2. folders have to be exited and re-entered to update (a bit like dolphin's
precursor used to behave)
3. nepomuk is reported not to be running on using the binoculars (but search
works, however)
4. activating nepomuk in system settings works but it seems to drop out 
5. using the search box works once but the folder has to be exited in order to
use again
6. for an example of the update problem please see screen shot (if I can add
it): 
- I have a filter set up to automatically delete email sent by a source that I
don't want to unsubscribe from 
- so wastebin shows undeleted items
- however the wastebin has been emptied and there are no items read or unread 

Actual Results:  
kmail2 is not updated until manual intervention 

Expected Results:  
automatic maintenance
