My test result:

Check "Prepend seperator to signature" and send ASCII-only e-mails: shows as
Invalid in Thunderbird w/Enigmail.
Check "Prepend seperator to signature" and send e-mails containing UTF-8
characters: shows as Good in Thunderbird w/Enigmail.
Uncheck "Prepend seperator to signature" and send ASCII-only e-mails: shows as
Good in Thunderbird w/Enigmail.
