            Bug ID: 329321
Summary: Down-arrow doesn't always maintain column position
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: kmail2
           Version: Git (master)
          Platform: unspecified
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: composer
          Assignee: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: winter at kde.org

Pressing the combination of keys: <backspace><enter><downarrow> causes the
column position in the composer editor to move incorrectly

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open a new composer and type the text:
Sally sells seashells by the seashore.
how much do the seashells cost?

2. move your cursor immediately before the 'b' in "buy" (column 23)

3. press the <backspace><enter> and then the <down arrow> keys

Actual Results:
after pressing the <backspace><enter><down arrow> key combination you'll
notice that the cursor jumps to column 18 of line 3

Expected Results:
after pressing the <backspace><enter><down arrow> key combination the cursor
should be at column 1 of line 3
