I have the same issue. Akonadi does prefix folders with an additional "INBOX.". 

Failed:
C: A000738 SELECT "INBOX.INBOX"
C: A000911 SELECT "INBOX.INBOX.SCC"

Correct:
C: A001216 SELECT "INBOX"
C: A001247 SELECT "INBOX.SCC"

I could not see a reason for that error. The folders are working, and i could
not see any impact on the functionality. But its annoying ...
