            Bug ID: 323900
           Summary: Page-margins in KDE-printer-settings
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: kmail2
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: marco_morath at hotmail.com

It would be good if I could configure the default print settings a bit more
specific. I often print to e-mails or save them as a PDF.
However, I always have to adapt in KMail the printer margin settings, so that
the contents do not get printed in the margin.

The ideal thing would be the following:

Easily set the printer margins in the general printer settings from KDE. Every
program can handle it (eg KMail), if it gets the settings from KDE.
Of course it would be perfect, if KDE or KMail get the the settings mirrored
for duplex printing (the left margin would be the inner margin and the right
margin the outer margin). KDE or KMail should configure that automatically, if
the printer is set to duplex-printing.

By default it's better to set the marings for printing e-mails and other things
to work with to 10 mm at the top, the bottom an the right/outer margin. The
left/inner margin should be 20 mm by default, because the pages get perforated.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
N/A
Actual Results:
N/A

Expected Results:
pre-define printer-settings for real printers and PDF-printers/pdf-export.
