Running: Kubuntu 12.10 with KDE 4.10.2
Owncloud: 5.0

1. Create a new contact (with an IM entry) in an ownCloud synced address book.
This contact gets uploaded (no error, no warning). 
But on the webinterface of ownCloud there is no IM entry visible (in the mySQL
Database it is, ownCloud bug?)
2. Resync your local address book .
The contact gets deleted! (local)
