Yes, I just verified (i Kmail, by trying to save a new mail as a draft), that
the bug is still alive and kicking and easy to reproduce.  This was done on a
Kubuntu 12:10 Beta 1 system.

% dpkg -l kmail
ii  kmail                                   4:4.9.1-0ubuntu1         amd64     
              full featured graphical email client
