            Bug ID: 306807
          Severity: normal
           Version: 4.8
          Priority: NOR
          Assignee: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
Summary: akonadi 4.8.5 states that Nepomuk query server is not
available, but there is no further information
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux
          Reporter: joulupukin.tontut at yandex.ru
          Hardware: Gentoo Packages
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
         Component: general
           Product: Akonadi

When I open the "Test..." log of the Akonadi service from the Akonadi settings
window, there is a red X on a line "Error log for current Akonadi session
exists".
The only contents of that file are: Nepomuk Query Server not available

I tried to find out from the web (e.g. Troubleshooting
http://userbase.kde.org/Akonadi_4.4/Troubleshooting ) what to do about it, but
there is no information about this error. The same error text is contained in
this Troubleshooting item
http://userbase.kde.org/Akonadi_4.4/Troubleshooting#Can.27t_initialize_character_set_latin1
but I can tell it's not the same error because in my case the only line in the
error log is the one about the Nepomuk Query service.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Akonadi Settings and go to the Test...
2. Click on the Red X near "Error in the current akonadi session log"

Actual Results:
It says that "Nepomuk Query Server not available". The FAQ/Troubleshooting
contains no info about how to fix this.

Expected Results:
There should be no errors in the log. Alternatively, the troubleshooting
webpage should explain how to fix this.
I don't even know what "Nepomuk query service" is or does or how this bug
affects me...
