I get the same error message as S.Trzmiel.  Kmail hangs about 3 or 4 times a
week, and the only reliable way of fixing the problem is a reboot.  Sometimes
it fixes itself but you have to wait a long time.

I don't think this is a network problem because I send my mail from kmail to
localhost, and I still get this hanging problem.
