Bug ID: 308092
Severity: minor
Version: Git (master)
Priority: NOR
Assignee: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
Summary: Turn-off single click in attach file dialog
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux
Reporter: winter at kde.org
Hardware: Compiled Sources
Status: NEW
Component: composer
Product: kmail2
When opening the file dialog for adding an attachment, that dialog will accept
when any file is selected with the left-mouse
I'm not sure I like this.. but I'm not sure really.
I think we should make the user press the [Attach] button.
Using this single click mode makes it harder for me when wanting to do multi
file selection with the mouse.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. open file dialog for adding an attachment
2. click on a filename
3.
Actual Results:
file is automatically attached
Expected Results:
file is not attached until the user presses the [Attach] button
I think disabling single-click attaching makes using the mouse to perform multi
file selection easier.
of course, single file attachment is far more common. So I'm not sure.
