I use debian kernel 3.2.0-3-amd64 #1 SMP Mon Jul 23 02:45:17 UTC 2012 x86_64

kde  4.8.4 and kmail 1.13.7 and i have same problem.

I try to use signature but i cant because there is not that chiasmus file and i
cant configure it.

I tried to install kleopatra but it did not fixed it.

It seems this bug was resolved some years ago but I cant find the way to fix
it.
