I agree with Frank, this should be possible, and it could be handled better.
Not only avoid the need of Akregator internals to have duplicated information
or refresh the same feed twice, but also so you can mark one of the instances
of the feed as “read”, and get the other one marked as “read” as well.

In addition, I would say that you should get a warning dialog when doing it (in
case you did not want to add a duplicated feed), so you can cancel if you want
to.
