The behaviour of the Akregator feed properties pane and the properties columns
is much the better example to work with. I presume they use the same kind of
widgets so there's example code to reimplement.

All the problems were experienced and screenshots were taken using the Kontact
container.  Although there appear to be some subtle differences in the exact
behaviour of the right-most mail folder property column when using KMail2
directly, the principle problems remain.
