I'm seeing the same issue under 12.04, KDE 4.8.2, with both a Gmail IMAP
account and an Exchange IMAP one. I guess that must happen due to lost
connection (mine is not so stable, not sure whether it's due to Kubuntu or my
provider, I don't remember the frequent cuts under windows).
