I can confirm this bug with KDE 4.8.3 (openSUSE 4.8.3-146.2.x86_64, patch rev
bec63a313160ec6dc1833029d5e99746779ed3f4 NOT applied); I can also confirm that
it was working with 4.8.2. The CardDAV source is a SOGo 1.3.14 server. As with
the original poster, other tools fetch the address book contents perfectly
well.

Enabling debug output for the akonadi_davgroupware_resource does not give me
error output, neither in ~/.xsession-errors nor in the akonadiconsole debug
tool. The only output I repeatedly get is:

But I do not know whether this is triggered by the CardDAV sync or not.

How can I force the groupdav resource to re-sync entirely? Perhaps then it'll
emit more output.
