I can confirm the connection issues with SSH/TLS and STARTTLS using Strato
IMAP-Server. Ports and everything are correct, however, KMail says that these
authentication methods are not available and even if setting them does not
connect and download emails.

This started after Kubuntu 12.04 upgraded from KDE 4.8 to 4.8.1 on my machine
at the beginning of March (interestingly, KMail says its 4.8. Packaging bug?
