Funny: I haven't had a crash for three days now. I saw that openSUSE integrated
a few backports and provided new packages four days ago. Maybe the bug has been
fixed by coincidence ? 

Anyway, I installed the debug package (thought I had before...) and promise to
generate a better backtrace in case of another crash.
