            Bug ID: 296277
          Severity: normal
           Version: 4.7
          Priority: NOR
          Assignee: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
Summary: Error messages from POP3 resources not shown
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux
          Reporter: greenrd at greenrd.org
          Hardware: Fedora RPMs
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
         Component: UI
           Product: kmail2

Bug 225497 was actually at least 2 bugs combined, and this is the bug from
there that was never adressed as far as I can see: POP3 resources do not
display error messages to the user.

For example, I got an error from my POP mail host saying "mailbox in use" (it
was actually due to my mailbox being full). But all I saw in kmail was no mails
being downloaded. I had to change it from a secure to an insecure connection
and use wireshark to see what the error message was.
