It seems, that I have a similar bug. I am reading and deleting emails and on
some of them kmail crasches. Reading this bug, I have relized, that it is the
emails with html references.
My system is:
Linux 3.1.9-1.4-desktop x86_64
System:  openSUSE 12.1 (x86_64)
KDE:  4.8.1 (4.8.1) "release 481"
