            Bug ID: 295534
          Severity: major
           Version: 4.8
          Priority: NOR
          Assignee: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
Summary: kmail2 randomly crashes upon browsing mail
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux
          Reporter: wilke at spamcop.net
          Hardware: openSUSE RPMs
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
         Component: general
           Product: kmail2

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/534.34 (KHTML,
like Gecko) konqueror/4.8.0 Safari/534.34
Build Identifier:

Lately, I'm experiencing a lot of random crashes with kmail. It usually happens
as follows: I start kmail for the first time and start reading email (imap
account). After clicking on 3 or 4 mails, kmail crashes.

The crash doesn't always happen, and when kmail survives the first 3-5 minutes
of staying up then usually it doesn't crash anymore.

The backtrace follows below. It seems that the crash happens in the soprano
component. There's a few symbols missing, but I'm not sure which package to
install to get the remaining ones. The KDE crash assistant doesn't know either.

Application: kmail (4.8.0)
KDE Platform Version: 4.8.00 (4.8.0 "release 462"
Qt Version: 4.8.0
Operating System: Linux 3.1.9-1.4-desktop x86_64
Distribution: "openSUSE 12.1 (x86_64)"

-- Information about the crash:
<In detail, tell us what you were doing when the application crashed.>

The crash can be reproduced some of the time.

-- Backtrace:
