Is anything happening with this bug? There has been no feedback from the
developers giving the impression that this is being ignored.

In my case, I get the dialog box on just about every message I open. And if
that message has lengthy attachments, the whole KMail system stalls until the
dialog box appears - this can be for up to a minute.

For me, this should be top of the Most Hated Bugs list as it makes KMail close
to unusable.
