            Bug ID: 302752
          Severity: major
           Version: 4.8.3
          Priority: NOR
          Assignee: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
Summary: Signing emails interprets escape characters
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux
          Reporter: daniel.hornung at gmx.de
          Hardware: Gentoo Packages
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
         Component: composer
           Product: kmail2

When sending the following text to myself and signing it, the sequence "=97"
seems to interpreted as a non-ascii escape sequence and changed. This leads to
an unusable result on the receiving side and a corrupted gpg signature.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Send this text to yourself and sign it.
2. Look into your sent mail folder (or inbox) and compare to what you typed in.
Actual Results:
The text was changed.

Expected Results:
Text should have stayed the same.
