I see it happen often when receiving mail in threads I've marked as Ignore and
when doing Bogomail filtering.

Ironically, I don't even want to do Bogomail filtering on the busy account
(with the ignored threads), but due to bug 285802 I have to have filtering on
all accounts or none (see my comment 6 there).
