[Bug 302019] Ongoing crashes

I changed some kmail settings and the program seems stable at least for now.
I'll list them in case it may give a clue:

1. In >apperance>Message list: Changed date display to "localized format"
2. In >appearance>Message window: Cleared the "show spam status in fancy
headers" and  "replace smileys by emoticons" check boxes.

With those changes, I have not had a crash.
