Strange, running OpenSuse 12.1 here, was at 4.8.3 packages working fine, now
upgraded to 4.8.4 packages and still working fine.  but if the problem
manifests on a new user in both Plasma and KOrganizer then it does point to
KHolidays itself being at issue.  Will need to think about this one a bit.
