I don't see the crash in KDE 4.8.3 but still akonadi seems to truncate my
e-mails on an IMAP mailbox.

The truncating happens also when kontact/kmail is closed but akonadi is still
running. Only when I stop akonadi the truncating stops. So it seems that it's
actually akonadi misbehaving …
