--- Comment #1 from Marc Schiffbauer <mschiff at gentoo.org> ---
As it seems now, I was not entirely correct.

Akonadi indeed now seems to do something. And after a kmail crash and restart,
mails seem to have been partly moved.

So the real problem was that there was absolutely no feedback to the user (to
me in the UI) that something is actually happening.

What I wanted to do was moving all mails from a folder A in IMAP account A to
another folder B in IMAP account B.
So I marked all mails in folder A and moved them to folder B using dnd. Maybe I
tried that two times because there was no feedback.

Then I tried to move the whole folder A via dnd from account A to account B.
Again no feedback.

Now my akonadi database creates a lot of load on my system and kmail shows that
the folder seems to have been moved. But its empty.
OTOH mails are now appearing in the folder where I moved them to with my first
try.

So it all seems to work somehow, but giving absolutely no feedback to the user
for an action that can take ages if you try to move tons of mail and/or have a
slow internet connection seems like a real problem to me.

BTW: Keep up the good work! kmail is really evolving and getting more usable!
