Hi, I'm having the same problem trying to import a mbox-file from kmail1 with
kmailcvt into kmail2 in KDE 4.8.0:

Error: Could not add message to folder MBOX-dh. Reason: Unknown error. (Unable
to append item flags.)

In other words, it seems impossible to import mails for me...
