           Product: kmail2
           Version: 4.8
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general

Version: 4.8 (using KDE 4.7.4)
OS: Linux

I just upgraded to KDE 4.8 via kubuntu packages and tried to start the formerly
working kontact (which did crash), and then tried to start kmail stand-alone
(which also crashed). The backtrace for the kmail crash is this:

Application: Kontact (kontact), signal: Segmentation fault
