I have a similar problem, although in my case, the instructions for accessing
our server state: set the personal namespace to "" and IMAP server directory to
"~/Mail". I opened a separate bug to request an option for setting IMAP server
directory (#292285), but I'm mentioning it here in case there is a workaround
using namespaces or vice versa.

Here is the output of my server greeting and namespaces, in case it helps.
