How do you mean "update my package"? Version 4.7.4 which I have installed
appears to be the latest release - according to http://kde.org/
In case you mean I should update the Gentoo ebuild using a patch from KMail
Git, please provide me with the commit id. I will then forward that to my
colleagues at Gentoo/KDE.
