Not accessible messages

Version: 4.8 (using Devel)
OS: Linux

I have sent some emails to myself and deleted them from the "sent" folder. They
appeared in the "trash" folder so I have deleted them from here too. But they
appeared again and now they grayed and I can't select and delete them.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
I don't actually know an exact way, this is what I did:
Sent few emails from my one email account to other, deleted sent mails from the
sent folder and then immediately deleted them from the trash.

Actual Results:
KMail notifying me that I have one unread email but it actually don't allow me
to read or at least delete it. So I logged in to my gmail account through web
interface and deleted mentioned emails but they still displayed in kmail and I
don't even know what to do.

Expected Results:
This shouldn't happen at all. Actually, why to display such emails If user is
unable to manage them? Moreover, one of these messages is still marked as
unread but I read it few times and in kmai settings I have "mark selected mail
as read after 0 seconds".

I have already noticed such behavior before. Also KMail doesn't mark messages
as read. Actually it mark them as read, but after the next email check messages
again appears as unread (but not all, some of them remain read). This happens
every time, not every day but exactly every time I receive new mail, so I
already used a little to check almost every message twice.
