- What I was doing when the application crashed:

Trying to refresh a saved search in a folder.

- Unusual behavior I noticed:

The search folder was showing an unreasonable number of unread messages, and
indeed when I clicked it, it didn't have the right parameters.

I should note that KMail had been open for several days (one session) prior to
this.
