kontact (4.8 rc2) on KDE Platform 4.7.97 (4.8 RC2 (4.7.97) "release 1" using Qt
4.8.0

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

Crash on startup -- feels pretty much as the same crash as in previous Kontact
versions (and Dr Konqui's dupe finder tells me it is the same crash).
