What is the reason that this bug was closed as invalid?

It may be a packaging bug of gentoo, so I created a bug there too:

However, I don't know how to debug this better, i.e. "Unknown error", where
does that stem from, what kind of error could it be (compilation issue, invalid
files, configuration/connection problems). I don't have any mail data and just
want to initialize akonadi. Your expertise would be appreciated.
