Im sorry I didn't comment earlier, but for me the problem was gone already in
KDE 4.7 when I deleted the existing akonadi IMAP resources (migrated from KMail
1) and created completey new Akonadi resources.
So it seems to me that the problem affects only migrated resources from KMail
1, all newly created resources work well for me. Don't know whether it still
exists in 4.8 because I didn't try again to convert old resources.
