Have tried to connect to managesieve on the same server with Thunderbird client
using SARTTLS and login=CRAM-MD5 without problem:

Dec 21 10:11:58 server dovecot: managesieve-login: Login: user=<kp>,
method=CRAM-MD5, rip=10.0.0.89, lip=10.0.0.249, mpid=3030, TLS,
session=<NyhcPVnRhwAKAABZ>
