I am using the quick search to filter for unread messages in the message list.

As soon as I select an unread message, it is immediately (0sec setting) marked
as read. This causes the message to disappear from the list (and eventually
deselected) and not be available for further processing until the quick search
filter is removed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Filter for unread messages using quick search
2. Select an unread message
Actual Results:  
The message disappears from the list

Expected Results:  
The message should remain in the list even if read until it gets de-selected by
user to allow further operations on it
