That is Akonadi/KAddressbook issue, not a specific issue of the
akonadi_googlecontacts_resource. I have already reported this issue with
KAddressbook some time ago, see bug 309324. 

However I'm still interested in reason why the contact was not uploaded to
Google servers :) If you are able to reproduce with a specific contact, could
you please provide some more information about the contact?
