I applied the patch to libkolab master (thanks for the patch =), the question
remains why you got to this point in the first place. (The picture is not being
found in the mime message).

Any possibility that you could send one of the offending contacts to me as
mime-message? You can of course anonymize it, I suspect it's an encoding issue
with the pictures name.
